I was in town during most of the storm and found hail up to 2 inches thick on the ground when I returned about 11:30 PM. I have only the neighbor's automatic station (KCOGOLDE14) data to give an indication as to time, but not sequence, of precipitation and hail. It was one hell of a storm, the effects of which (flooding, shredded leaves) we saw on the drive home on Golden Gate Canyon, Robinson Hill, and Douglas Mt Dr. |
