Notes
The storm total of 7.8/0.77 in about a 30-h period is my biggest "2-day" storm of the season (and the 6.1" biggest one-day report since mid January). Snow depth ranges from 4-6.5" on the grass, no snow on the driveway (a little bit tried late yesterday). Kind of a typical mid range April storm, snow came down pretty hard at times (moderate), much lighter other times, sun peaked through at times 1000-1430 when there was also a lot of fog. Found a flat surface in the shade to make measurements, 0700-1300 1.0/0.08, 1300-1700 3.3/0.29 with most of that falling 1400-1700. Snow pretty much stopped after 1715 and thought it was over, then another 1.8/0.14 fell from ~2100-2345. Only a dusting after that. A one measurement total last night of 6.8 storm total on a shady flat surface. High temp was 32.4, unfortunately it cleared some late and the low just before 0700 was 25.8 so we'll see how the blossoming fruit trees did later.
