Lowering my condition to Mildly Dry this week as the "promised" precip last week never materialized. The grasses are looking stressed (unusual) and many of the forbs also are looking stressed. Shrubs are doing OK. Stream runoff is starting to slow. High peaks still have snow but it is melting fast. Getting lots of visitors to the bird baths in the yard and the garden is requiring more frequent irrigation. There are no additional fire restrictions for Larimer County or Rocky Mountain National Park above the permanent Level 1 restrictions.
