OK- We'll do "Near Normal" for one more week, altho' conditions fly in the face of precip. accum.  Sprinkles on/off one day, a.m. fog/low stratus 3 days, afternoon sun, and temps in t onlyhe 60s.  However those pesky VOAA>PRISM Norms are niggling: year-to-date & wateryear-to-date are near 100%normal but month is 14%!!!.  Wild berries seem late / slow maturing. Creek still running well, no significant drop, but is totally shaded so retaining ground water better. The rains of the first months of the year have kept ground water levels up until now, but the dug yard ponds have started to drop. Surface soil under leaf litter still damp, but surface litter getting volatile.
