We just had a little 0.25 " of snow but we only only 1.34" so far  for one of our wettest months, ( about 2.4 inches below normal), and most of this has been from melted snow, sleet and freezing rain. Farm ponds are at a low for the winter and we will need more precipitation soon or livestock and winter crops will suffer .More wildlife than normal is coming to our many feeders. 'No burn bans' are out. Water quality and quantity are still ok, but not for long unless we get more precipitation.
